How to Ask for Letters of Recommendation

Hi speechies!

Today's topic has been highly requested so I'm excited to share it with y'all ☺️ Application season is upon us now that it's October so I give you:

I know it can be daunting to ask for your letters of recommendation so that's why I'm laying out 5 steps to make it a smooth process:

Step #1: Build rapport with who you plan to ask.

Step #2: Set up meetings to formally request your letters.

Step #3: Go to those meetings prepared (dressed professionally and with your folder...folder details are in the video below).

Step #4: Follow up the meeting with a handwritten thank you note.

Step #5: Send reminder emails as necessary.

You can watch the video version below and I go into detail about how to make each step happen. I hope this helps!

  1. When I originally commented I clicked the "Notify me when new comments are added" checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four e-mails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove me from that service? Cheers! google search engine optimisation
